Position Summary:
Responsible for developing and increasing contractor sales and engineered
specifications.
The essential functions of
the position include, but are not limited to the following:
· Conduct/make regular calls to HVAC contractors, schools and distributor branches.
· Develop relationships with area engineers, architects, and other specifiers.
· Participate in local professional groups, industry associations and functions.
· Attend and participate in trade shows.
· Prepare monthly report.
· Develop relationship with utility companies and builders.
· Give presentations at sales and product meetings.
The non-essential functions
of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
·
Advice Zone or Regional Manager on market conditions.
·
Monitor inventory levels at distributors.
·
Performs other job functions as assigned.
Experience/Training:
· Degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
· Minimum 5 years sales experience preferably in the HVAC industry
· Minimum 5 years calling on the engineering community in the Tri-State Area.
· Familiar with HVAC wholesales and dealer organizations helpful.
· Ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
· Familiar with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.
· Willing to travel.
· Excellent public speaking skills.
