Position Summary:

The basic function of this position is to oversee the main HQ area and support HQ and other branch operations as outlined and needed.

 

The Essential Functions of the Position Include, But Are Not Limited to the Following:

·        Shipping, Receiving and tracking of product:  Maintain all shipping & receiving information for warehouse materials.  Detailed tracking information on product going in and out of the warehouse must be maintained.

·        Housekeeping and Organization of Warehouse.  Maintain the cleanliness of the overall warehouse area.  The EED warehouse space must be kept in a safe and well organized manner in all area’s HQ and other branch areas.

·        Warehouse Equipment Maintenance and Use:  Ensure all equipment that is used in the warehouse and sent out from the warehouse for the job sites is safe and well maintained.  Records of this maintenance including testing must be kept in order.  This includes shop forklift, shop truck and any other tools or equipment that is used by EED HQ, or as requested by branch to support that operation.

·        Order Material, Tools and equipment as needed:  Support HQ and other branch office with ordering of needed tools, supplies and other items that are requested in addition to normal purchased items.

·        Tool Tracking:  Work closely with So. California installation superintendent to establish and maintain tools and sundries part tracking system.

·        Pre-Assembly:  Ensure that required pre-assembly items are done correctly and in a timely manner in order to support branch operations and HQ.  This will include wire pining, plugging, cutting, installation hard ward and material, crating as required for local and international shipping, etc.

·        Oil Room Maintenance:  Ensure all parties maintain oil room guidelines.  Keep track of all waste oil disposal documents for future inspections by building owner and other regulatory agency.  It is very important to make sure that waste oil/rags are disposed off in a timely and legal manner.  Also, make sure that Oil drums are returned in a timely manner and are to be left in the warehouse.

·        Budget Planning:  Work on budget items needed for yearly plan.  This should be done well in advance before the BP due date.

·        Temp Labor Warehouse Costs:  Ensure minimal temp labor is used in warehouse.  If the work load does not require help- It should be reduced.

·        Inventory Control Support: Support as requested inventory control, stocking, removing as maintaining as request. 

 

The Non-Essential Functions of the Position Include, But Are Not Limited to the Following:

·        Performs other job functions as assigned.

Experience/Training

·        3 years of Warehouse experience.

·        Basic computer skills such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

·        Proven successful track record of warehouse coordination and supervision.
