Position Summary:

·        Responsible for Cost analysis, cost summarization, and reporting of Elevator & Escalator job cost.

·        Provide advice to EED/IDESA Management for cost efficiency/improvement.

·        Be part of  EED/IDESA business planning team.

 

The Essential Functions of the Position Include, But Are Not Limited to the Following:

·        Prepare budget/forecast and revision on construction job cost.

·        Responsible for monthly cost variance analysis.

·        Performs period profit and/or project profit planning & analysis.

·        Work with the Finance Department in regards to percentage completion method of revenue recognition for monthly book close & financial presentation.

·        Analyze labor rates variance and union worker’s fringe benefits rates discrepency.

·        Assist in the preparation of divisional annual and semi-annual business plan.

·        Some out of town business travel as required.

 

The Non-Essential Functions of the Position Include, But Are Not Limited to the Following:

·        Performs other job fuctions as assigned.

Experience/Training

·        Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.

·        7-10 years progressive cost accounting experience, emphasis in construction related accounting.

·        Written & verbal communication skills.

·        Advanced excel spreadsheet required.

·        Familiar with Access Application/program preferred.
